Experimenting With Elements

These shots were a bit of an experiment in both literal and more abstract interpretations of the elements of design. Some of the images are more concrete in their comparisons,while others were placed together more by feel than anything. The first image is more obviously texture where some of the others may fit more than one group. I know I have a lot of work to do in terms of shooting straightforward images that connect very obviously with line, tone, texture, color, and shape, but feel that the literal and abstracted perspectives of these elements can be combined in hopes that it might cause one to think outside the box.
